2014 NU SKIN Greater China Regional Convention Review the Wonderful Moment

2014 NU SKIN Greater China Regional Convention (GCRC) was held at the Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Expo from June 18-20, 2014, where approximately 30,000 business partners from Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and overseas actively participated in the event to be the “Force for Good”, in the common goal of promoting NU SKIN to be an enterprise that creates smiles throughout the world, as well as actively participate in the activities. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of NU SKIN, after the opening of Greater China Innovation Park in Shanghai last April, we held the GCRC adopting the innovative and uniquely designed twin halls and twin stages. The GCRC recognized more than 15,000 outstanding business partners and we also successfully created one Guinness World Record.

Follow the Internet marketing policies strictly and no business development problem would be raised
Sandy is a fresh university graduate and has great confidence about her future. She began to develop an interest in NU SKIN when a friend of hers brought her to a NU SKIN Event and she was amused by the wide variety of NU SKIN products as well as the rewarding business opportunities. She obtained a deeper understanding of NU SKIN’s products and business opportunities after receiving further explanation from her friend. However, business development could be a challenging task for a fresh university graduate. In consideration of that, Sandy decided to start off her business by introducing NU SKIN to her relatives and friends in the first stage to increase public praise. She also decided to use the Internet as an advertising media as she has noticed many NU SKIN marketing materials on Facebook and Instagram. She created “NU SKIN Page” on Facebook, Instagram and other social networking sites and posted product reviews together with the before & after photos on them to give the viewer a detailed information on NU SKIN’s products. Suddenly Sandy remembered there seems to be certain restrictions over internet marketing as it was mentioned before during an education section of a NU SKIN event. 2014 NU SKIN Force for Good of 30 Days
In this lovely June, NU SKIN Greater China launched the project themed 30 Days Love Share to celebrate 2014 Force for Good Day, encouraging all the business partners and family members to do good every day, record, share, and deliver it on our Force for Good app.
Ever since the launch of the project, all NU SKIN family members and business partners have been taking an active part in it, which leads to a Force for Good circulation and atmosphere. Some business partners also shared the feeling of participation in the charity sale during the Regional Convention, “I had the opportunity of attending the Regional Convention last week, and worked in the charity sale group after finishing the registration work. Every day, we stayed outside the conference hall, hurrying to wherever the crowd gathered together to raise fund. My legs became numb, my throat dried, my body tired, but my heart was full of happiness. Every time I sold something out, and received the fund, I felt it all worth. NU SKIN people are all full of love.” Some partners shared small good deeds like helping others to take off heavy luggage, and some others shared their understandings of Force for Good…
Although the 30 Days Love Share project is coming to an end, but business partners can keep sharing good deeds on our Force for Good app. We are looking forward to seeing more business partners and family members join us and share the happiness of being Force for Good!

NU SKIN Force for Good Built Colorful Dragon Boat with Love Wan Fun Centre
In June, Blue Diamond Executive Chen Yunru, Lu Junheng, Xin Zhenyi, Chen Lingli, Diamond Executive, Cai Peixian, Emerald Executive, Fu Yanying, Chen Meili, Xu Xiaozhen, Xu Wanzhen, Ruby Executive, Chen Hongci, Lapis Executive, Shen Jiaying, Gold Executive together with Chen Guanjie formed a volunteer team in Taiwan, and went to Love Wan Fun Centre to accompany service users and build the colorful dragon boat with them.
The center mainly offers social welfare service to those suffering moderate and severe somatopsychic disturbance, and aims at increasing their working opportunity Social workers of the center explained the classes and environments, and the courses they designed for the service users, which helps to improve their abilities to the volunteer team. They hope the service users can become independent, develop themselves and have a better communication skill with others in the society. Social workers also emphasized that it is the center’s goal to help the service users to build their abilities of self-independence, so the volunteers will also ask the service users about the assistance preferences and respect their choices during the social service.
This time, our business partners divided into two groups. One group did handicraft with the service users. Although Dragon Boat Festival had already passed, the happy atmosphere was still everywhere in the centre. Social workers prepared carefully the frame of the dragon boat and colorful papers so that business partners and service users can build their own dragon boats by painting or sticking the papers. Some people chose the papers they like and stuck them on the boats, while some others painted the heads and tails of the dragon with their favourite colours. Soon,colourful boats were built. Business partners and service users also painted a picture that they are rowing together on the boats. Finally, the social workers chose the champion of the day after everyone shared their creative brief , which the centre was in a festival atmosphere . On the other hand, the other group accompanied the service users in Art Class to play puzzles. It seemed the puzzle was difficult, but the volunteer and service users work it out through great cooperation.
Xin Zhenyi had some new finding through the event, “I am a part of the society, so as the service users. I have some new finding about the philosophy of people is born to be equal. Today, I am the student and the one who is being educated.” Chen Hongci said, “Working with the service users which also allow me to understand more about sympathy and know about how to respect those who are in need of help.” Chen Xiaoling felt she became a kid again, “I learnt how to be kind, happy, simple on them. It is a kind of interaction that can hardly be felt during our daily work.” Chen Yunru thought she gained a lot, “Through the communication with the service users, I am the one who gained more because we have the opportunity to accompany, support, teach , instruct, and smile.”
