2013-2014 NU SKIN Volunteer Teams
Spread Your Love Join Us Now!
Since its establishment, NU SKIN,
the world's anti-aging expert, does not only commit to launch innovative
and high-quality products, but also actively promotes "Force for Good" culture
through various charity projects, including the establishment of NU SKIN
Volunteer Team. NU SKIN organizes regular volunteer activities to help the
unprivileged children in the society, it is hoped that the unprivileged children
can feel the love and care from the community, and can grow up healthily
and happily.
In 2006, NU SKIN officially established its volunteer teams. Over the past
7 years, the number of the volunteers has exceeded 1,700 and over 2,500 children
have been benefited from their generosity. NU SKIN Volunteers are always
inspired by joining the volunteer activities. They always hope to motivate
their family and friends to join them to spread the love to the unprivileged.
“I am so grateful to have participated
in this volunteer activity and brought a joyful morning to the kids! I truly
realized the saying of ‘using our lives to give better lives to others’.
I am glad to be a member of NU SKIN Volunteer Team.” Vivian Chan said.
“I feel very lucky that I could participate in this event. Children are the
future pillars of the society; therefore we should set a good example to
be their role model. Thanks NU SKIN for leading us to uphold the Force for
Good spirit all these years.” Clara Yim said.
“Through this activity, volunteers were able to communicate with the kids
closely and facilitate their growth with happiness. Also, I was touched by
Patrick, RVP, Leaderships cum President, Hong Kong & Macau, NU SKIN Greater
China, who spent his valuable time with us to uphold the "Force for Good"
spirit together.” Cyan Ng said.
“I truly understood the meaning of “it is more blessed to give than to receive”
after this activity. I was very contented to see the smiles on the children.”
Eunice Chu said.
“I could see the smiling faces of the innocent kids through this activity.
Although they come from broken family, they have developed good characters
under the guidance of the teachers in the charity organization. And I was
moved that they know how to take care of themselves and seldom rely on others.”
Rosa Chow said.
We are now recruiting 2013/2014 Volunteer Teams (September 2013 to August
2014), hoping to create more smiles for the children by providing regular
volunteer services to them. Act now to join us, to uphold the “Force for
Good” spirit together! Don’t miss it!

NU SKIN Volunteer Team
Bread DIY Workshop
NU SKIN, the world's anti-aging
expert, not only commits to launch innovative and high-quality products,
but also actively promotes "Force for Good" culture which encourages members
of the NU SKIN family to participate in various charitable activities. On
Aug 10 (Saturday), 17 members of the NU SKIN Volunteer Team attended a bread
DIY workshop with 23 children from the ABM Hong Kong Swatow Baptist Church Community Service Association Limited.
The kids demonstrated boundless creativity and cooperated with the volunteers
to make breads with lovely appearances. A fruitful and happy morning was
spent.
The kids needed to follow instructions to create their bread step by step.
Children's attention and patience could thus be trained. During the activity,
they listened to instructor’s explanation intently and raised questions immediately
whenever they had any question. Lastly, holding their unique bread, all children
smiled happily with a sense of satisfaction.
The NU SKIN Volunteers who attended the activity are as below (listed not
in sequence): Monique (Captain), Paul Tai (Captain), Celia (Vice-Captain),
Money, Annabel (Vice-Captain), Cheung Chau Ling, Iris, Jenny, Michelle, Randall
Ho, Rose, Ross, Susanna, Van, Wing, 何鳳如 and 鄭淇丹. Thanks for some of their sharing
as below:
“It was a fantastic day to learn how to make breads with the kids. I was
moved by the children's innocence, their desire to learn, as well as their
happiness when the homemade breads were completed. Thanks to NU SKIN's force
for good, it provides us opportunities to contribute our effort and to create
smiles every day.” Monique said.
“I am glad to have contributed a little effort to help the unprivileged in
the society. I wish I could help more children and join more community service
in Hong Kong.” Paul Tai said.
“Thank NU SKIN for organizing this activity. I am glad that kids were involved
in the activity. I will definitely join more volunteer activities in the
future if possible.” Money said.
“We went to the Center to bring those kids from under-resources families
to bread factory. We learnt the production process of bread and even made
our own one. I am pleased to contribute my little effort to bring love to
others. Thanks, NU SKIN. ” Annabel said.
“I can learn how to make bread in this volunteer activity and make friends
with kids with different personalities. The activity is really worth joining!”
Jenny said.
“It is a very meaningful activity. Kids were holding their own bread with
satisfied smiles. I wish I could bring joy to more kids. Thank NU SKIN for
spreading their Force for Good to the unprivileged. ” Rose said.
“The biggest reward is to see the smiling faces of children and to hear their
laughter, I also felt like regaining their innocence!” Ross said.
“I am glad that I joined this meaningful activity with kids to learn making
bread. The instructor is very humorous who gave explanation in detail. This
was the first time I visited bread factory which broadened my horizon. ”
Van said.
