致力凝聚力量，讓兒童擁有更美好的明天。為了秉承這份精神，如新集團香港分公司一直不遺餘力支持慈善活動。2006年，如新正式成立直銷商義工隊，反應十
分熱烈，4年來的隊員數目逾800人，受惠兒童超過1500人。本年度(2010年9月至2011年8月)公司將再接再厲，重組如新愛心義工隊，定期幫助
有需要的兒童，使他們快樂成長。
如有興趣投身如新義工行列，請自行
組隊，10人為一隊，並選出正、副隊長各一，然後於9月3日前填妥報名表格，傳真至2882
7808或交給業務專員。
坐言起行，請即報名參加，發揚善的力量！名額有限，先到先得。
備註：
- 正、副隊長須為如新集團直銷商。
- 正、副隊長負責協助慈善活動的統籌及聯絡工作，確保隊伍共有10人出席活動，除正、副隊
長外，其餘8人可由隊長根據需要而選擇不同人士參與。部分機構要求所有參加者均為如新集團直銷商。
- 各義工須自行承擔部分活動支出。
- 名額有限，先到先得。

泰莉 (TAYLEA)
 泰莉是在馬拉威裏朗威附近，汽車旅館後面一個骯髒小房間裡被發現的。她的父親和兩個兄妹剛剛
離世，母親則患有肺結核與愛滋病，並且嚴重營養不良。3個月大的泰莉只有2磅重，同樣患有肺結核和愛滋病。由於母親已經危在旦夕，人們只好向人間天使養護
中心的黛安•布拉克求助，希望她能夠收留泰莉，並嘗試挽救她的生命。泰莉的母親在彌留之際將她抱在懷中，哭著表示寧願泰莉跟她一起離開人世。兩天後，朋友
們再度找黛安，告訴她泰莉的母親已經去世，如不趕緊挽救泰莉的話，她將很快追隨母親而去。
泰莉被帶到養護中心，獲得拯救。她的病情嚴重，而且營養不良，不僅無法吸吮，也沒有母親為她餵母乳。黛安只好將蜜兒餐加水，用眼睛滴管一小口一小口餵小泰
莉，直到她吃飽為止。沒過多久，小泰莉的狀況就開始好轉了。
2月，泰莉22個月大，體重24磅，身穿漂亮的藍色裙子，顯得乖巧伶俐，她更會說英語和馬拉威的齊佩瓦語。每個月，她都會接受愛滋病與肺結核的治療。她喜
歡與其他小朋友們一起唱歌跳舞，在花園嬉戲，還很喜歡教導其他小朋友呢。

Volunteer Teams
Enrollment
Deadline is on this Friday, Act Now
To act as a "Force
for Good" and create a brighter future for children, Nu Skin
Enterprises Hong Kong is committed to supporting various charity
activities in the society. In 2006, Nu Skin officially established its
distributor volunteer teams. Over the past 4 years, the number of the
volunteers has exceeded 800 and over 1500 children have been benefited
from their generosity. This year (2010 Sep to 2011 Aug), we will
re-launch the Nu Skin Volunteer Teams, hoping to bring children a happy
life by providing them with regular volunteer services.
If you are
interested to be a Nu Skin volunteer, please form your team with 10
members in total and select 2 people to be the captain and vice-captain
respectively. Please fill in the registration
form
and fax it to 2882 7808 or submit it to your Account Manager before Sep
3.
Act now to uphold the “Force for Good” spirit! Quotas are limited,
first come first served.
Remarks:
- The captain
and vice-captain must be a distributor of Nu Skin Enterprises.
- The captain
and vice-captain are responsible for coordination and liaison jobs.
They should ensure that there are 10 people in their team to attend
each activity. The captains can recruit different team members (maximum
10 members including the captain and vice-captain) upon the needs of
each volunteer work. Some organizations request that all the
participants must be distributors of Nu Skin Enterprises.
- Volunteers
shall bear some parts of the expenditure of the activities.
- Limited
quotas; first come first served.

Spotlight:
TAYLEA
Taylea was found in a small, dirty room
behind a local motel near Lilongwe, Malawi. Her father had just died,
along with two siblings, and her mother was very ill with TB, AIDS, and
malnutrition. Three-month-old Taylea weighed just two pounds, and also
had TB and AIDS. Her mother would die soon, so friends asked Dianne
Block of the Earth Angels Care Center to take little Taylea and try to
save her. Taylea’s mother cried and said she wanted Taylea to die with
her, and held her in her arms. Two days later, friends again came to
Dianne, informing her that Taylea's mother had died, and that little
Taylea would also die soon if Dianne didn't come and save her.
Taylea was
rescued and brought to the care center, malnourished and very ill.
Taylea could not suckle, and had no mother to feed her anyway. Dianne
thinned the VitaMeal with water, and began feeding her small amounts
with an eyedropper. The drops were placed in her mouth as often as she
would tolerate. Soon little Taylea began to thrive.
In Feb, at
22 months old, Taylea was wearing a pretty blue dress and weighing 24
pounds. She is a sweet girl and smart, speaking English and Chichewa.
Taylea receives monthly treatments for HIV and TB. She enjoys laughing
and playing with the other children, singing, dancing, and swinging in
the garden. Taylea likes to be in charge and to teach the other
children.
