如新全球愛心動員捐助海地災區
1月12日，海地發生裡氏7.3級強烈地震。在大災難面前，如新大家庭再次發揮善的力量，第一時間向海地提供緊急救災援助。如新善的力量基金會立即向國際
紅十字賑災基金會捐贈了救助金，截至2月2日，如新集團及直銷商共捐贈了超過100萬美元的現金和物資用於海地賑災。
如新集團受饑兒滋養計劃的慈善合作夥伴——供養兒童基金會(Feed The
Children)長期對有需要人士提供及時的蜜兒餐援助。地震發生後，如新通過該組織緊急從廢墟中取出超過15萬份蜜兒餐，分發給當地災民。隨即又從工
廠新調撥18萬份蜜兒餐運至海地的6個救援站。未來每週還將有超過20萬份的蜜兒餐被送往供養兒童基金會，這些蜜兒餐每天可以救濟到海地約15,000名
災民。
2月底，如新集團預計將向海地提供總計超過150萬份的蜜兒餐。其中，經歷過5.12地震災難的如新大中華區將向海地捐出586,770份蜜兒餐，價值近
400萬元人民幣。為了幫助海地民眾儘快安置災後生活，如新集團計劃每個月持續為災民提供蜜兒餐。如新善的力量基金會至2月底的全球募集的資金也將集中用
於海地的賑災。如新希望通過受饑兒滋養計劃幫助海地貧困兒童重塑生活，創造美好未來。

Nu Skin Acts as a
Global Force for Good to Help the Haiti Victims
Following the
catastrophic magnitude 7.3 Mw earthquake in Haiti on Jan 12, the Nu
Skin family has demonstrated its Force for Good culture with an
outpouring of support for those affected by the tragedy. The Nu Skin
Force for Good Foundation issued initial grants to the Red Cross
International Relief Fund to support the immediate relief efforts in
Haiti. As of Feb 2, the Company and its distributors are donating more
than US$1 million in cash and product to the Haiti relief efforts.
Our charity
partner, the Feed the Children (FTC) has been working through their
network to get VitaMeal to those in need as quickly as possible. In
fact, the more than 150,000 meals that were at the FTC medical clinic
were pulled from the damaged building and have already been distributed
to those in need. Another 180,000 meals arrived in Haiti and were
distributed from six locations to earthquake victims. Over 200,000
additional meals are being delivered each week to the FTC for delivery
to projects in Haiti where they are feeding about 15,000 people every
day.
Nu Skin
Enterprises expects to provide more than 1.5 million meals for Haiti by
the end of Feb. We are pleased that Nu Skin’s Greater China region, an
area that has also suffered from the devastation of the 5.12
earthquake, will also donate 586,770 meals with an amount near RMB4
million to Haiti. To help the victims there recover as soon as
possible, the Company will continue to send monthly shipments of
VitaMeal to this earthquake ravaged country on an ongoing basis. Funds
collected globally by the Force for Good Foundation through the end of
Feb will also focus on the Haiti relief efforts. With the Nourish the
Children program, we hope to make a greater impact on the lives of the
many children suffering in Haiti.
